SYL is a piercing live act formed in a time with no live music. The post-hardcore band from Copenhagen blends the best from punk with hints of noise rock and hardcore.

The idea behind the band arose when two of its members woke up after a bender for the ages, confused and with no recollection of why they both had the word ‘SYL’ tattooed across their chests.

Lyrically, SYL deals with the whole spectrum from young anxiety to masculinity and fragility while lead singer Benjamin Clemens’ aggressive vocals draw a melodic thread through the noisy backdrop.

With a violent output and hard-hitting melodic punk, SYL pulls you into a universe that invites you to let your emotions run wild.
